Sally, 82, and Colin Dunn, 84, met in 1972 when they were in their late 30s when Sally worked behind the bar of the social club that Colin visited every weekend after work. And it was in that very social club, more than four decades later, that the couple celebrated their wedding with over 100 of their closest family and friends. Remembering the times he used to visit Sally at Middleton Social Club in leeds, West Yorks., Colin said: "Sally used to serve me every weekend when I'd go in every weekend. "We got chatting and she got used to me going. Eventually, I asked her out."

Colin Dunn, de 84 anos, e Sally Smith, de 82 – ambos de Leeds, Inglaterra – se viram pela primeira vez em um bar de um clube no ano de 1972, e após algum tempo o homem a chamou para sair.
Sally, que tinha quatro filhos de um casamento anterior, aceitou o convite. Só após décadas de relacionamento eles ficaram noivos (em 2015).
Colin relatou que ele e a companheira sempre estiveram com mentes ocupadas na criação filhos e também em viagens de família.
“De repente as crianças foram crescendo e saindo de casa e só estávamos eu e Sally, então nós pensamos que era finalmente tempo de nos tornamos marido e mulher”, contou o idoso.
